Measure the width and the length of your tabletop. (For a round table, measure the diameter.)  Next, decide how far you would like your tablecloth to hang down from the table’s edge.  This length is called the drop length. Multiply your drop length by two.  Add this number to both the width and length of your tabletop.  (For a round table, add this number to the diameter.)  Voila!  Use these new dimensions to guide you while shopping for your tablecloth.
